Tips to Enjoy Going From Here to There
We are all cautiously emerging from our travel hibernation and while the prospect of seeing friends and family again is exciting the thought of packing a suitcase isn't. It doesn't have to be a daunting task. Most of us are great "panic packers" but with a few simple tips you won't even have to do that on the return trip home.
Mom always says "Don't forget anything." Right then and there I know that I will forget something. So now I make a list. A few days before the trip just start writing things down. It's easy because I'm excited about going away. I write down the things I use everyday. They might be such a habit at this point that I think I couldn't possibly forget them but I do. This list will come in especially handy the morning of the trip. As I finish using something I check it off the list and pack it away. Now I'm never without my favorite moisturizer, electric toothbrush or medicine. I take the list with me and use it as checklist on the way home.
The secret to making the most out of a small suitcase is to roll your clothes instead of folding. Most things will just hang out any wrinkles or put in a steamy bathroom while you shower. We love traveling with just a few dresses that can multitask. Our Original Dream Dress in either cotton or silk makes a comfortable lounging around dress or it can do double duty as a beach cover-up or with a wrap to a casual dinner. Maybe it actually does triple duty! Our silk pants are great for the plane, train or automobile. The easy fit waist band is perfectly comfortable for long trips. You actually can be comfortable and chic at the same time.
Our goal is to reduce stress in and out of bed. To make life a little easier and give you one less thing to think about during the day. Reconnecting with old friends is one of the greatest joys in life. Have a beach bbq, a pool party or just a movie night under the stars. Summer is here enjoy and look great at the same time.
