When traveling with a furry friend make sure to pack all the obvious and not so obvious things. Bring food, collapsible bowls, medicine, extra leash and collar with names and contact information. Just like you like your creature comforts so does your pet. Make sure to pack a favorite bed or blanket. Bring their favorite toy. Go for a test ride and make sure they get used to the car. If the only time your furry friend gets in the car is to go to the vet he might have a little anxiety. A few trips to get treats will quickly fix that. Most important when you get to your destination give your pet pal time to settle in. Stay with them for awhile to let them know this is a fun trip. This is a great time of year to explore the outdoors with your best friend.

I always feel so guilty leaving Oliver at home, now I don’t have to. These are great ideas.
